The Dubai agency that brought the UK estate-agency model to the UAE — and built a reputation for transparency in a market that didn't always expect it.

Founded in 2008 by brothers Lewis and Carl Allsopp, Allsopp & Allsopp was established to bring a more transparent, service-led approach to Dubai's real estate market. Modelled on the UK estate-agency tradition — fixed fees, honest valuations, and a focus on relationship over transaction — the agency carved out a distinct identity in a sector where those qualities weren't always the norm.

By the time I worked with them, Allsopp & Allsopp had grown into one of Dubai's most recognised residential agencies, with a client base of buyers, sellers, landlords, and investors from across the UK, Europe, and the wider Gulf. Their digital presence needed to reflect that credibility — building trust quickly, communicating their point of difference, and giving users the tools to explore and act on the Dubai property market with confidence.

Web design — establishing the visual and UX direction for a service-led real estate brand in a competitive Dubai market.

01

Visual Design Direction

Defined the visual language for the brand's web presence — capturing the approachable, service-led character of a UK-heritage agency while positioning it credibly in a premium Dubai market.

02

Property Search & Listings UX

Designed the key buyer and renter journeys — property search, filtering, listing detail pages, and the information hierarchy needed to give users confidence when making significant financial decisions.

03

Design Concepts & Direction

Produced design concepts that set out the structure, tone, and visual direction for the agency's web experience — giving the team a concrete, communicable vision to take forward.

The challenge

Founded in 2008 by brothers Lewis and Carl Allsopp, Allsopp & Allsopp brought a traditional UK estate-agency model to the UAE.

They needed web design that captured that distinctive, service-led positioning in a competitive Dubai market.

My approach

I created design concepts that established a clear, trustworthy visual direction — focusing on how listings, services, and the brand's personality could come together in a responsive web experience.

A complete digital design direction — from brand-led homepage through to property search and agent contact.

Homepage & brand positioning

Designed a homepage that led with the agency's personality and point of difference — communicating the UK-heritage, service-led approach clearly and quickly to buyers and sellers who had other options in a crowded market.

Property search & filtering

Designed the property search and filtering experience — allowing buyers and renters to explore Dubai's market by location, type, budget, and lifestyle, with a results layout that gave each property the visual weight it deserved.

Property listing pages

Created listing detail page designs that presented photography, floor plans, neighbourhood context, and financial information in a layout structured to build confidence — and make contacting an agent the obvious next step.

Agent profiles & team pages

Designed the agent profile and team section — putting the people behind the brand front and centre, in a format that reflected the personal, relationship-driven service the agency was known for.

A digital design direction rooted in Allsopp & Allsopp's service-led, UK-inspired brand.

Allsopp & Allsopp's competitive edge was always their people and their process — transparent fees, honest advice, and agents who took the time to understand what their clients actually needed. The design challenge was making that intangible quality legible in a digital experience.

The design established a visual language that felt premium but approachable — rooted in the clean, editorial sensibility of UK property media rather than the more opulent aesthetic common in Dubai real estate. Property photography led the experience, supported by a clear information hierarchy that gave buyers and renters everything they needed without overwhelming them. The result was a design direction that could carry the brand's personality at every touchpoint — homepage, search, listings, and agent profiles alike.
